Season 4 of The Chosen is a historical drama series that follows Jesus and his disciples in first-century Palestine during a time of Roman oppression. The season begins with the public ministry of Jesus and the pushback it generates. Religious leaders, threatened by Jesus’ growing influence, form an alliance with the Romans and opposition to his message turns violent. Jesus is left with no choice but to demand his followers rise up.
